2008 Talents For Christ Group Competition

The girls ensemble from Brown Street Baptist Church, Alton, Ill., sing “Bow the Knee” for the Talents For Christ small vocal competition.

These groups won first and second place awards in the Talents For Christ group competition on Wednesday, June 25:

Large Vocal Ensemble

  • First place — Calvary Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa
  • Second place — Brown Street Baptist Church, Alton, Ill.
  • Third place — Faith Baptist Church, Iowa City

Small Vocal Ensemble

  • First place — Camden Baptist Church, Wellington, Ohio
  • Second place — Brown Street Baptist Church (Girls Ensemble), Alton, Ill.

Vocal Duet

  • Second place — Camden Baptist Church, Wellington, Ohio

Puppets

  • First place — Standale Baptist Church, Grand Rapids, Michigan

Drama

  • First place — Campus Baptist Church (Group #3), Ames, Iowa
  • Second place — Campus Baptist Church (Group #1), Ames, Iowa
