Harvest_InlineFriday, July 1, 2016. As the conference attendees and exhibitors head out to their vehicles, preparing for their journeys home, there is a palpable sense of worship in the air. All week long, they have had their attentions and affections trained on the Lord Jesus Christ, whose death, preeminence, and coming kingship have been proclaimed in the sermons and workshops again and again. For most of the conferees, life’s routine and the daily grind will resume almost immediately. But their hearts have been lightened and their perspectives altered by the message that, for the believer, life is not merely about subsisting or existing; it is about serving the One for whom and through whom and to whom are all things.

“We go to preach Christ, to love Christ, and to live Christ,” John Greening said, formally bringing the 2016 conference to a close. “And in so doing, to bring Him glory.”
