Over 100 alumni spanning 50 years of graduations from Clarks Summit University enjoyed fellowship on the opening night of the GARBC Conference. President Jim Lytle and his wife Diane hosted alumni from ages 27 to 86 and representing a wide variety of service for Christ. Dr. Lytle thanked the alumni for their part in the March Alumni Appeal, which had raised $25,800 for immediate student scholarship needs. He also highlighted the university’s game plan for thriving in the midst of upheavals in American education and the changing culture of our society. As the evening closed, alumni around each table shared the most significant benefit they received from their time at CSU and Baptist Bible Seminary. They testified about the array of ministries and careers to which God had led them. CSU and BBS had showed them the power of learning how to study and apply the Word of God and had given them the long-term benefit of personal mentoring from highly qualified faculty mentors.
