Lytle_inlineDr. Jim Lytle, president of Summit University, spoke during Wednesday morning’s session of the GARBC Conference in Oswego, Illinois. Using Genesis 3:15 as his focal passage, he spoke on the simple message of “Jesus Saves.” With his three main points—Jesus saves by the Father’s plan, Jesus saves throughout constant conflict, and Jesus saves conclusively—Lytle said that this really is a passage of hope, hope in the midst of terrible struggle. “The first three-quarters of the Bible (the Old Testament) is the foundation, not the preface,” Lytle says. “When the judge makes provision for the guilty, something special is going on.” Amid the prospect of struggle, Lytle concluded, “is there enough in Christ for us? The answer is a resounding yes.”
