Wednesday, July 1. Mark Davis from Faith Baptist Bible College started the teens’ morning off by finishing their study in Colossians. The teens took a short break for a photo scavenger hunt in downtown Omaha and then met up again for small discussion groups. The groups discussed how the truth that as believers they are in Christ can be applied practically to their daily lives.
The week’s activities for Students Alive! culminated with a trip to the world famous Omaha Zoo. After the students had their fill of lions, tigers, and bears (oh my!), the group ate dinner at the zoo, and Pastor Jason Blunk of Ankeny (Iowa) Baptist Church challenged them from God’s Word. For many of the students, the chance to hear excellent speakers share God’s Word and to meet with like-minded teens was a great encouragement and help in their walks with God.
