Students Alive! kicked off day three of the 2017 conference with two great sessions featuring Matthew Malin (Piedmont International University) and Caleb Acree (Faith Baptist Bible College). For the morning activity, students attacked opposing squads in some rousing matches of archery tag. Imagine a combination of dodgeball, paintball, and archery (with foam tipped arrows) for a pretty good picture of the battle. After lunch, the group took the plunge on Sandy Cove’s zip line and giant swing. “It was hard to distinguish between the laughs and the screams, but all the students enjoyed themselves,” says Carrie Augsburger, wife of Students Alive! director Lance Augsburger (Faith Baptist Bible College). In the evening, Augsburger continued to encourage the students to do their part in building up the Body of Christ. The evening closed with an exciting game of scatterball, which lasted until it was too dark to continue! Friendships flourished this week among the students as they spent time together in the Word and in fellowship together.
