The Word of God is the basis for all events planned for the upcoming GARBC Conference, Monday, June 29–Thursday, July 2. Pastors, church leaders, and Bible teachers, please plan on joining David Gunn as he presents the conference module “Interpreting Scripture Well: The Need for a Sound Hermeneutic” on Tuesday, June 30.

Conservative Christians agree that the Bible is God’s authoritative Word and our primary source of spiritual truth. But not all believers interpret the Bible in the same way, and this often leads to theological or methodological disagreements. If we truly believe in the inspiration, inerrancy, and authority of Scripture, then we should take hermeneutics seriously and be careful to interpret Scripture responsibly.

Make a special effort to attend the 2020 GARBC Conference and absorb the instruction from this excellent module. David Gunn is an educator, a writer, and a theology enthusiast. He was educated at Shasta Bible College (BA), Corban University School of Ministry (MDiv), Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary (ThM), and Baptist Bible Seminary (PhD, ABD). In addition to his work as director of Regular Baptist Press and managing editor of the Baptist Bulletin, David teaches online courses in Bible, theology, and apologetics for Shasta Bible College and Clarks Summit University.

The GARBC Conference offers stimulating and thought-provoking instruction for pastors and church leaders. Join us in Sacramento Monday, June 28–Thursday, July 2. Register now for the “Interpreting Scripture Well” module and the GARBC Conference.
