  • When is the conference taking place?
The virtual conference will be taking place on Monday, June 29, and Tuesday, June 30, from noon to 5:00 p.m., Central, each day.
  • What happens to my existing registration?
If you already registered, we will be personally contacting you, giving you the option to transfer your registration to the virtual conference and either donate the balance to Regular Baptist Ministries or receive a refund for the balance.
  • I don’t have all the names and email addresses for my church registration ($70) at this time. What do I do?
You can process your registration now and modify it at any point before June 25 to add the extra names. Simply leave extra fields blank when registering. If you run into any trouble (or have more than seven from your church attending), simply email extra names and email addresses to conference@garbc.org. We will add them so you do not incur any extra fees.
  • I’m registered. Now what do I do?
On the day of the conference, go to your registration confirmation email and click “view event details.” Watch an overview from Accelevents (the platform we will be using) to find out more. We will resend your event confirmation on Friday, June 26.
  • What about my hotel registration?
All rooms that had been booked at the Hilton Arden West under the GARBC room block will be canceled. No action is needed on your part. If you call the hotel to confirm the cancellation, know that the cancellation will take a couple weeks for the hotel to process.
  • What will happen at the business meeting?
The business meeting will be similar to our in-person business meetings. You will be given the opportunity to ask questions and make statements. You will vote on the purpose statement and amendment to the articles of faith that were presented at last year’s conference and the men to serve on the Council of Eighteen. Voting will take place digitally. You will need to be registered for the conference in order to participate in the business meeting.
  • How will I be able to interact with others?
The technology we will use has networking rooms. Before and after the conference each day, you can log in early or stay late to converse one-on-one with friends or be paired with new connections. These opportunities will also be available in between sessions throughout the day.
  • I’m an exhibitor. What should I do next?
As an exhibitor, you are an important part of our association, and we wanted to make sure you have an opportunity to be involved and highlighted throughout the conference. The technology we will use has a virtual exhibit hall. You will be able to have two representatives logged in who can dialogue with participants. You can also advertise in our conference notebook and sponsor sessions. Review information about the different exhibitor options.
  • What happens next year?
The Hilton Arden West graciously moved our contract to 2021. Our prayer and goal are to gather in Sacramento, California, for the the 2021 conference June 28–July 1. Many of the modules and speakers we had planned for this year will be shifted to next year.
