Dr. Douglas Brown of Faith Baptist Theological Seminary presented on four theological viruses that could come up in everyday conversations in a typical coffee shop. These viruses include redefining justification and the proper role of works, justifying same-sex marriage, erasing the historical Adam, and undermining the canonicity and reliability of the New Testament. Brown played video clips of proponents of each of the “viruses.” The clips helped to establish the views. Brown then critiqued the views, giving a list of key issues that believers today need to be aware of. The challenge was to be diligent in equipping people to be grounded in their faith in God and to have confidence in His Word.
