During a well-attended business meeting on June 30, voting messengers from GARBC churches elected the following members to the Council of Eighteen:

  • Tim Capon, Representative – Iowa Association of Regular Baptist Churches, Ankeny, Iowa
  • Will Hatfield, Pastor – CrossRoad Baptist Church, Ames, Iowa
  • Mike Hess, Pastor – Calvary Baptist Church, Mount Pleasant, Iowa
  • Scott Poling, Pastor – Harvest New Beginnings, Oswego, Illinois
  • Ken Spink, Pastor – Berea Baptist Church, Berea, Ohio

The newly elected men join those currently serving on the Council of Eighteen:

Immediately following the introduction of the 2015–16 Council of Eighteen during the GARBC Conference Tuesday evening main session, council members elected the following officers:

  • Chairman – Ken Floyd
  • Vice-chairman – Ken Spink
  • Secretary – Will Hatfield
