A Time for Fellowship

By June 23, 2012September 7th, 2023No Comments

The GARBC’s annual conference starts Monday, June 25, at Baptist Bible College and Seminary, Clarks Summit, Pa. Join us in fellowship as we encourage one another and praise God together at several receptions, luncheons, and dinners throughout the week.

The receptions kick off on Monday night at 8:30 when ABWE invites everyone to enjoy an informal gathering with refreshments in Baptist Bible College’s cafeteria. Reconnect with old friends and make new ones during this event and hear important updates on ABWE’s ministry. The receptions continue at the same time on Tuesday night with Faith Baptist Bible College and Wednesday night with Baptist Bible College, host site for this year’s conference. Don’t miss out on these incredible opportunities to interact with faculty, staff, and alumni from these two outstanding schools and learn about the impact they are having on the lives of students. Veterans and those serving in the military, as well as individuals desiring to show their support for the military, can enjoy the Corps Vets reception also taking place Wednesday night across the hall from the cafeteria.

Be sure to join in the special luncheons throughout the week as well. You will enjoy good food and learn about exciting developments in the GARBC’s ministries. Stop by the registration table to get your tickets for the Baptist Builders Club luncheon on Tuesday at noon ($5) and the GARBC International Ministries luncheon on Wednesday at noon ($10).

Ladies, make sure to get your ticket ($15) at registration for the Ladies’ Luncheon. This great time of laughter and encouragement features Diane Lytle, who will share about “The Ultimate Thirst Quencher.”

Both the young and the young at heart should join The Quest for a casual dinner at Underground Cafe on Thursday at 6:00 p.m., where everyone can interact and share exciting ministry ideas that are becoming reality in local churches, plus catch up on each other’s families. Tickets are $6 and can be purchased at registration.

Finally, what’s a conference in the summer without a picnic? Enjoy laughter and fun at the GARBC picnic taking place on Wednesday evening at 5:00. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids. If you live in the Clarks Summit community but are not attending the weeklong conference, be sure to join this great event and stay for the evening session, which is free to the public.

Get ready to fellowship . . . the conference is almost here!
